Hello all,
Would like to know specifically about Queer inclusion at SocGen Societe Generale. What is the attitude of mangers and HRs towards treating LGBTQ identifying candidates? Is company really inclusive or it’s just a lip service? Considering an offer with the company but being an out and proud Queer woman, super anxious and concerned.

If we all deserve fair treatment and respect, we deserve to be addressed how we prefer. Would you address someone as their first name if they introduced themselves by their middle name? It’s the same for someone who changes their name after aligning with a different gender - it’s how they identify themselves and what name they think represents them best.

Your personal identity is important to you. Fair treatment/respect would mean that you treat that identity for others with that same importance

As a boring moderate, I just use the name people introduce themself with and pronounce it correctly. If they offer up pronouns, I use those too. I don’t share mine and don’t make a fuss whether someone does or doesn’t.

Wild guess. You’re a straight cisgender male?
Why are we obsessed with identifying with specific genders if they are “social constructs” and not real/meaningful for anything. That’s the sentiment yet they’re extremely emphasized all the time

I don't know because I've never experienced it. I just respect how others say they feel because I'm not them, and I don't need to understand. I can't pretend to know how another person feels.

Language is gendered. I'm not sure I understand your question. It takes work to change language.
