I finally decided to take the negotiation process head on. Read a ton of articles in WSJ, Fortune, etc. and sought counsel from a dozen people in and out of the industry to make a plan and develop strategy. Was able to negotiate 3 separate offers against each other to drive up the base salary. Finally feel like I'm being compensated fairly for the first time in my career.
