You can always ask for feedback just be prepared to get a boilerplate response that isn’t helpful
In a small percentage of scenarios you get meaningful feedback but don’t count on it
I’ve asked but haven’t gotten any meaningful feedback yet. It’s just a boilerplate response like you said, “we have found someone with more experience.”
I only ask for feedback when it’s a late round, mostly because I’m pissed off and want make them uncomfortable lol.
Went through 5 rounds of what I assumed was a sure shot offer, to be rejected by an automatic rejection message. I responded asking for feedback. If you’re going to tell me no after all that, at least have the guts to tell me why.
the most rounds I did was 5 i think
I’ve never asked for feedback. As said, usually it is a generic response because they don’t want anything coming back to bite them. Also I’d rather just move onto the next, my usual assumption is somebody is just better, if I was at least technically qualified for the role and make it to an interview stage.

I don’t really ask for feedback. Just move on with life
Be prepared for them not giving specific feedback. Specific feedback could open the organization up to potential lawsuits, so they intentionally don't give it.
You can't always get what you want. Sadly in this case for legal reasons.
