hey, I joined Deloitte in June 2020 as an GPS SA analyst, I just staffed on internal project only providing me adjusted utilization. Now my standard util is 40 and my adjusted is 105... and this project last in another month... by then my standard util might be 20.. will my promotion be affected by this? I’m struggling. I left an agency I liked last year due to growth limitations and since then I’ve worked at 2 different agencies and can’t seem to find my footing. The first one seemed like a good fit at first but then it turned out to not be the best place for me so I left. At my current agency I feel super undervalued. PwC people, does vacation negatively impact utilization the same way hitting G&A does?

In the last PDM town hall, they said they were going to lower utilization targets for those that work on projects with capped hours. For those people, have you seen your utilization target lowered? I haven’t seen shit change for me.

Thoughts on leaving PA primarily due to the metrics based culture (utilization, dtc, use of X digital tool, revenue, margin, etc). I find this aspect of PA stressful and exhausting but not sure if this is something you just get used to. Currently a manager and seems like the metrics just change over time / don’t get easier.

Ugh I wanted to take my son to see a UFC match in person. Just so happens there is one in November at Madison Square Garden - great right!
