I declined a candidate who was unsuitable (coasted through school, flopped a nepotism internship and had no interest in the industry of our clients) and subsequently saw him post on LinkedIn that he’s started at Deloitte!!
Looks like he’s in the right place now 😁😁

Idc what anyone says. All Big 4 are difficult to get into. KPMG seems to hire at a frequent rate. But, again not easy.

Yeah guess it depends how you define consulting
The answer is not so black and white like the question sounds. All you need is prepare well for the case & behavioural interviews.
I went to a good state school and the biggest consulting company that recruits our people is KPMG. For audit I think it was PWC. We hired 14 people into deloitte so I think if you have a good GPA any of the big 4 are achievable
I guess they were lying then. I have a Masters degree and yes a 3.7+ gpa. Not sure why they said I need a referral
EY. DM me for more info
Thank you for the helpful answers everyone. To be more specific I was wondering about getting an interview, do all companies prioritize referrals?
Makes sense. Thank you
