I know this isn’t a marriage therapy bowl, but my husband has a really terrible tendency of saying things like “you’re being really mean” and completely shutting down during a disagreement when i objectively am not being mean, just truthful or vocal about how i feel about something. It’s a really convenient argument for him because it enables him to either be the victim and me the villian, or forces me to concede my stance and not reach a true resolution. Any tips on dealing with the irrational?

It’s during this time of year that I’m reminded of how the word ‘no’ does not work with my beloved little kin who insist on climbing and trying to eat random inedible objects.

I struggle with imposter syndrome big time and want to start therapy, but I really don't want my husband to find out that I'm going to a therapist. It'd just be too embarassing. Is that awful of me?

I’ve had to step away from social media for my own mental sanity as I have a major issue with comparing myself to peers when it comes to life stages.
