Why does quota keep going up even when the territory does not change? I have worked the same accounts for four years and targets jumped again this year. Leadership calls it a growth mindset. I call it getting screwed.

All companies try to do more with less. Sometimes it is justified, sometimes not. The key is to quantify the potential spend within your current accounts (assuming you are a “farming” Account Manager, but if you are a “hunting” Account Executive you will want to identify/quantify those in your territory too) and try to make the case that you have fully penetrated them. You will have to start that conversation in Q4 while budgets are still being formulated. Learn the process so you can navigate it.

I’m intrigued but I want to know 2 things:

Hi! I’ve been approached by Securonix for a Sales Director role in NA. I know the field and their competitors. The pay is good but I’ve seen a handful of websites with employee rating that is really bad. Each site has roughly 10 reviews but most are negative.
