Hello All,
I have recently joined FIS Global around end of April. My mother recently met with an accident and she needs to be operated.
I haven't been able to update the anything regarding the insurance part yet on FIS portal.
Will my mother's treatment be covered under the insurance? If yes, what's the procedure for the same? What are the documents that I need to submit in order to claim the amount?
Can anyone please guide?

My contributions are $700 per month for myself, my wife and my kid. My company covers the rest. The way it works here though is you have rates for yourself, you and your wife, or you, your wife and your kids (doesn't matter how many). But be warned, as much as you pay in premiums, you'll still be paying when you go to the doctor. Insurance covers a lot, but you still have to meet your deductible and out of pocket maximums before they'll cover everything. I have good insurance but still had to pay $3000 when I had foot surgery. But then because of that, when my daughter had an emergency appendectomy the same year, we paid only $150 because we'd already met our out of pocket payment maximums.
I pay $500 ish / mo for three people. Me, wife, kid. It’s a really low deductible.
851 per month for three of us. Top of the line plan. Agency covers the rest. Dental and eye vision not included.
It really depends on what your company offers, and within that there are usually options that range from higher upfront costs to lower monthly payment but higher out of pocket cost if you need it.
Depends on the company you work for. I was paying $800 a month for me and my husband at a holding company agency. Now I met an Indy and I pay $400.
