Any tips on how to start and prepare my MBA Application? I don’t plan on applying till 2022 as I want to attend in 2023. What are things I can do to prepare now in order to have a strong application? Background: I’m aiming for HSW, M7, and top 15. I’m currently a Staff at EY within Business Consulting. I graduated from a Top 25 Business Undergrad - majoring in Finance and minor in Advertising with a 3.71 GPA. I want to pivot towards PM or Corporate Strategy in Tech, at Toyota, or Nike. TIA!

So I've had 2 hiring managers and several recruiters from Amazon reach out to me about applying for some open positions with the company (android). I completed the coding assessment and now they want me to go through a round of 5 hour interviews next week. Is there a good chance I'll be hired if engineering managers are reaching out to me? I'm really not sure how badly I want to work for them and I don't want to be laid off months after being hired on. Anyone know what Amazon hiring is like?
Short weeks are the best!

No, it’s very rare
Easier to get your foot in the door as a T2 consultant and lateral in
Rising Star
Does happen , not super common. Think I saw 3 people try that route from non-mba masters. 1 made it to consulting side in US, 1 became implementation coach in latam, 1 still internal.
Latam markets imo are far easier to break into- but comp often parallels competition for role.
T2 or mba def better routes.
I've been told by a number of people that it's very difficult, maybe even more so than applying externally. But you do still get the brand on your resume, which counts for something (e.g., recruiters would be more likely to reach out, and then it's up to you to sell yourself)
Thank you! Sounds like applying directly or suggesting a client facing role to the recruiter is a better option
Huh?
Agree, spend time at a tier 2 firm and crush it.
