Would love some feedback this afternoon on creative ways to reach more applicants. I’m a recruiter for a small NGO and we’re looking to hire more recent graduates. Handshake, Indeed and LinkedIn have been our friends and I’ve also utilized various forums to attract applicants but want to reach out for some feedback from other recruiters. You can also look at career readiness non profits and partner with them to get access to their students. These students are already excelling and add great value because they have to apply to be a part of these programs. Some examples include Minds Matter, Basta, and ANY (America Needs You). Then you get a diversity of schools represented, too.

I have a query with regards to HRA deduction that we can claim as non taxable.

So in my offer letter, it is written that max 50% of basic salary can be used for house rent.

My basic salary is 7,00,000. So how much deduction can I show for HRA, considering the The Income Tax Act Section 10-13A?

I want to reduce the tax as much as possible through HRA, but I believe there is a limit upto which deductions will be considered.

I'm currently in the non-profit space as an HRBP. I manage over 30 reqs and am struggling keeping up with the full responsibilities of a recruiter and hrbp. I spoke to my manager and she said it's normal for an hrbp to have at least 50 reqs. I've never seen this type of model at ANY of my previous employers. Is this common?
