TCS is the worst company one can be in.
Cheap mindset management cares more about timesheet, wfo, forceful mandatory trainings, imposing strict restrictions on laptop, access to personal docs only via vpn,no employee well being no salary hikes nth at all.90% projects filled with freshers coz they cost less.No WLB for good dedicated hard working employees as they are punished with more and more work, leaves rewards mostly for people who don’t work. But no issues kyunki job security hai 😂

Anybody feel burned out by the politics of PA? Particularly around YE/performance evaluations, local partners are so brazen about their favoritism, it makes me wonder if normal people really have a chance in this gig. Back-stabby, fake and usurious co-workers revel in their job satisfaction, while the exodus of talented, good-natured people deepens.EY PwC KPMG Deloitte Grant Thornton RSM BDO

I am doing a poll of sorts. I got an offer from Deloitte as a Tax Consultant II in their Hedge Fund Group and an offer from PwC as an Experienced Associate in their Asset Wealth Management Group. Which one would you choose? Comps are very similar, PwC is just offering a little bit more but nothing too crazy. PwC Deloitte

I would change if you deserved that promotion. But if you suck dont blame the firm for your lack of competence. But regardless of the reason remember you will be starting fresh again (no reputation, new software, new methodologies, new clients, etc) so it might put you even more behind. Unless you have a horrible rep at your current firm or theres a toxic environment and need the fresh start. Good luck.
Yes wait until October. If you havent been passed up yet, just wait, work hard the rest of the year and see if you get promoted. If you're not a low performer I'm not sure why you wouldn't get promoted.
Anal
Yep.
No, you will lose a year after you leave and still end up in the same place. Stick out 1 more year if you know with 90% certainty you will get promoted.
If you aren't promoted your career at a firm is pretty much dead.
Yes
I would rather a financial analyst position
How do you not get promoted to senior?
At KPMG it isn't working for you. Take the senior position at a different firm or hop to the analyst position for a fresh start.
Bigger question is why we're you not promoted? Address that question not where should you work.
Sounds like you may be an under-performer. I'd leave before you get let go
I'm confused, are you currently a 2nd year staff? If so, then wait till July, you will know by then. If u don't get promoted then bounce
Well I have seen people taking three years before getting promoted but if you think you deserved the promotion then think to leave. Some firms push you to get promoted or leave but KPMG is not one of those. I have seen people staying at one position for long times by choice and there is nothing wrong with it 😎
What level is analyst
Senior
Me too
Sorry let me rephrase. The choices are would you stay, leave for senior, or leave for financial analyst?
