You mean like romantic partner right? I have done it before and it was indeed too much haha. I think I already have codependent tendencies so when I was working with my boyfriend (now husband) I felt really triggered by a lot of things at work with him. I realized we just need our own space to be independent people at work and our relationship works a lot better at home
In my head, I think my husband and I could well together or work in the same office without issue. But in reality, I know us all to well lol and I don’t think working together would be great for our marriage in the long term.
Actually just took a remote position in the same company and division as my spouse... We have separate work areas and so far so good.... We purchased a mobile desk to add an additional work space as needed... 🤞
You know my husband and I have been married for five years and we really are each others best friend. We are a great team and I really do think we would work well together. We have completely different career fields but if there was ever an opportunity to work together I would definitely take it.
