Anybody knows if T2 firms are following the base salary increase (100K->110K) of MBB for 2023 new grads?

What’s the most accurate consulting salary survey for 2022?

Real question - how are folks calculating TC? Is it just base + bonus + equity or are y’all factoring in benefits, assorted perks etc.

Anybody exit to Sysco or know comp structure? Glassdoor is showing 100% bonus for Senior Manager and Director level corporate roles.

Wanted opinion recently signed on a home (I can still back out but will lose my escrow).

My total compensation is $194,000 Base + 5-12% bonus. With the locked in interest rate (6.125), estimated property tax, home insurance, my total monthly payment is expected to be $3,200. I signed on the home for 470,000. I have zero debt. After my down payment and furnishing, I will have around 120,000 in my HYS. Hoping to refinance down the road at some point. I am a first time home buyer

*Long rant alert* ok so I started working at this comp Jan 22. I don’t come from a pharma/IT/Consulting background. I’m completely new to everything and I’ve said this in my interviews. Somehow still got hired and was grateful for the opportunity and ready to learn. However resources provide were like those basic vague YouTube tutorials that didn’t actually help with learning how to deliver a project. The comp is fully remote so it was difficult to be trained properly by anyone

SC at Del GPS and had a comp Q. I’ve hit top 10% rankings all 4 years, hit early prom every year, and have made unique contributions, including having a founding hand in building a $25+M practice, and now playing SC and M simultaneously to win $2M in annual work / staffing 10+FTEs. Also am an SME in my field and have standing in my industry w/ major publications + a unique network. Is $135-145k base fair comp? Am grateful to be at D, but wanted to check if fair given my backnd / impacts

Is it common to get billed out at a higher level than you are? I'm an L1 at a boutique and am getting billed as L2 since July. I'm in the process for promo to L2 this January, but I would get that even if I didn't take this project. When I asked if I would be able get a higher comp adjustment on top of the promo, I was shot down because of "how the market is", but the additional comp I want isn't even 20% of the savings I brought the firm for being overbilled.

New to casing interviews in general. A lot of examples you see- people are writing out their frameworks and showing them to the interviewer directly. How are people tackling this in a remote environment? I can’t imagine it’s possible to read anything on paper through a webcam. I saw a youtube video suggest taking a picture of your paper, sending it to your comp, then sharing screens with the interviewer- but I feel like this could go pretty badly. Any thoughts?

Anyone have experience changing jobs before, during or after a home purchase? I know during is a terrible idea and after would be ideal, but how about before? Assuming compensation is greater in the new job and the company is stable.
