Does anyone know the American Airlines lost baggage office phone number at LaGuardia?

American Airlines - I'm confused. I'm have gold status - flight departs in 3 hours -it's under 500 miles - I'm number 1 n the waitlist for an upgrade. When I search the flight says I could buy up to 4 business seats? Why wouldn't I be confirmed upgraded? Thought that happens 24 hours before?

Would you book American airlines for Cancun flights in late November? Their mass cancelations have me worried, but are 50% cheaper next best (United)...

Is American Airlines serving drinks again for business class?

American airlines miles expiring soon. No plans to travel due to pregnancy and then new born phase. How can I redeem and not lose them?

I left a job in summer 2021 and have travel credit from work related flights that were canceled in March 2020. When I try to use the credit American Airlines is telling me I need to, “contact your original booking source.” These we’re booked through Amex Global Travel. Do I contact them? Am I SOL? Has anyone been able to successfully use work credits for personal travel?

Is American airlines the worst ? Have traveled a lot with United and Delta as well but American takes the cake in terms of operational efficiency and customer service.

No work travel in the immediate future on current engagement. AA Platinum Pro status going to expire if I don’t get $2,000 EQD’s by year-end. Think I’ll hit ~$1,200-$1,300 with personal travel. Planning to book a return Qatar airways flight to India with return in October. Anyone have any experience with rescheduling if required due to Covid? Are they as helpful as typical American Airlines. My last experience with European / Chinese airlines wasn’t good.

So i see seat availability for business class on American Airlines on expert flyer but when I call Etihad to book the seats they don’t see business class seats. Any suggestions or ideas? Flight is this weekend.

Flying international for the first time in a while tomorrow. Delta will not let any of us check in online, saying “some international travelers need to check in at a kiosk”. Friend said two weeks ago flying American, it took 2 hours to check in at a kiosk. Have other people experienced this? Really dreading showing up to the airport at 330 am if I have to account for a full 2 hours (note: have lost all status the last two years but do have precheck still).

Have the CSR but thinking about switching to Amex Gold + something for flights and hotels. Maybe one of the American Airlines cards? Any other suggestions?

About to go on a flight tomorrow but our toddler has a slight runny/congested nose and some sneezing. Hoping it passes but how do I get in touch with American Airlines to potentially change my flight in the case that he is actually sick? Flight is tomorrow but current ETA for a call back is Weds. They should be able to issue credits or change the flight days after we no-show?

Also I’m guessing the airline will not allow us to get on the plane given these symptoms even if he wears a mask?

Recently flew American Airlines and my onward flight was delayed resulting in me not being able to make it to my connecting flight. Since I knew this in advance, they had to rebook me on a flight the next day - I lost out on an entire day of travel. The next day, my flight was delayed prior to take off by 2.5 hours.

Had anyone traveled AA? Flying from Philadelphia to California this week and I read that I need a negative covid test within 3 days of departure. Is this actually the American Airlines requirement? It’s not clear if it’s from out of the US or domestic.
