If you have certifications do you demand your company to match your salary with the certification average salary or the role? For example: a senior IT auditor with a CISA average salary is 88k, but the company imposes pay brackets that caps the senior it auditor role at 85k, regardless of certain. It makes sense to ask for 88k or at the very least 85k, right?

How many decide to give up on extra non-CPA credentials (e.g., CISA, CIA) they’ve earned because they are too lazy to complete the annual CPE reporting every 3 months period or pay the renewal fee? Is there a good way to reference lapsed credentials to get some kind of “credit” for getting them in the first place?
