Is it just me, or in doing school research, are you encountering a lot of positivity/toxic positivity?

Of the calls I've had with students and alumni, I can count the number of "real," genuine conversations on 1 hand. In most conversations, people have been reluctant to directly discuss negatives, even when I ask for them (since the MBA is a big investment). But then when we go online, we see a number of criticisms when the anonymity filter is on.

We loose a very large chunk of engineers to other professions like MBA or government jobs for a simple reason that most entry level jobs are not paid well and is exploitative.
A middle class person cannot afford to wait a long time due to family responsibility, society expectations, age restrictions, marraige etc.

Do I really need an MBA if I’m already in consulting and want to stay in consulting ? I want to get into MBB.
Like does it help with promotions? What are the benefits?

What is a good age range to apply for a full-time MBA in an M7? I know usual is 28-32 but wanted to get inputs.

I am in the midst of a professional crisis. 25 yo, 2 careers, worked in a T2 strategy consulting firm for 1.5 years, now in Gartner for about 1 year, and I am thinking in trying MBB in 0.5-1 years (I will have been 2 years in current role). My questions here are:

-Is this a smart career move?
-Should I aim for the consultant/associate role altogether (would have 3-3.5 yoe by the time I apply)
-Thoughts on aiming for a top MBA / sponsorship after a couple of years at MBB 2nd level?

Does part time vs full time MBA really makes a significant difference in a M7? (Booth and Kellog) I read something that full time students looked down on part time students. I am planning to apply for part time as I don’t want to lose 2 years of not getting paid.
