What's the salary band for consultants in DAS KGS, (Tier 1 MBA, 3+ YoE)

I have been working in corp strategy & finance for 15 months in manufacturing. Prior to that, I have MBA Finance (Non IIM tier - 1) and B.Tech mechanical and no work ex b/w the two.

What are the best career paths to increase my chances of going abroad?

Hi All, I am 32 and married, working woman. I have 5 years of experience with a career break of 5 years in between. I want to do MBA, I wanted to do it immediately after I completed my engineering. But couldn't due to some personal reasons. Then my parents got me married and I moved out of india, then had a child. But I really want to do higher studies. Is there any good option for online MBA or any course which can be done in correspondence? Because I cannot do full time MBA now.

Highly skilled to monitor large scale e Governance projects. IT Project Management, Operations Management, SLA Management, Resource planning, Project Planning, Resources mobilization, Requirement Gathering, Gap Analysis, Software Development are the key skills involved. Worked in proposing IT solutions for Smart City vertical mainly citizen services.

How long is the ban in general if you get rejected from MBBs from MBA campus placements? Do you have to wait till after 2 years to reapply? And is there an age limit for application? Besides this, any other personal experience and perspective of how many times people get rejected before they actually get an offer will be much appreciated.

I'm a consultant at Bain, and I'll be most probably promoted to manager the next semester. Anyway I'm going to CBS next fall and I'm think of resigning before starting business school.

For recruiting.. will I have any leverage given my manager position? Or I'll be treated as an average post-mba?

Hi everyone, has anyone with less than 3.0 GPA at non-target schools, managed to pursue for the non-MBA masters program at prestigious universities that are feeders to MBB or other consulting firms? If so, then how to get to those programs if they were in my shoes? What is their experience? And Which programs serves best for getting into those firms?

At how many years of experience will the “mba effect” diminish? I keep seeing people on this app (and colleagues at work, ie accenture) argue that for whatever reason a mba is worth higher pay than other advanced degree such as phd and other specialized master’s (finance, supply chain, etc.).

Post-MBA associate here, been in consulting for 1.5 years and thinking about staying vs. leaving.

Can someone share an overview of what the pros and cons of leaving as an Associate vs. EM vs. AP are and where do these folks typically end up at?

How do you deal with consulting exit job offer that you think a low ball offer? I tried to push them but they push back citing that’s the max salary band for the role.

It’s hard to believe that since most of the team members are ex-consultants, hence I can benchmark salary from there.

Context:
Someone with post-MBA consultant experience just joined with the same role lvl offered to me. But, I got ~15-30% less from her/his salary at consulting firm, prior her/his exit to this company.

I don't like when people put MBA, PMP, CSPO etc next to their names on LinkedIn or any other website. CRINGE

Hello, as a new Product Manager MBA graduate (top15) what salary should I be looking for in NYC? I have 6 YOE in tech and ops not as a PM.

I graduated with a degree in Business in 2018. I’m planning to pursue a Masters in Engineering (likely will pair with MBA) and have been taking the required pre-reqs over the last year from community college.

Is there a big difference between MEng and MS degrees? Or about the same?

I started off looking in going into Mechanical Eng but now looking more into Civil & Environmental.

Is anyone here willing to provide insight about job prospects between the two fields?

I started a new role a couple of months ago. I was told that consultant was where my level was. But now looking at everything I should have advocated for senior consultant instead. I do have an MBA and a couple years of experience. What can I do to rectify this?

I work in Transaction and M&A tax and am looking to switch toward pure M&A/PE or even IB! Is this possible directly? Or I should go for an MBA, and if so, is the cost really worth it? With MBA, I can also consider MC!

Is there really that big of difference in recruiting between USC and UCLA MBA? I checked MBB target schools and only one recruits at USC whereas all 3 recruit from UCLA. I would have thought it would have been about the same. Thoughts from MBB/B4/Tier 2 consulting?

Interviewed with Bain east coast last week for post mba consultant role. They gave me an official date that I will hear back by today but I haven't heard anything back. I sent the recruiter a follow-up email but didn't get any response back.
Does that mean I am rejected? I am assuming if they would liked me a lot, they would have extended offer to me by now already. It's past their official timeline now. Any thoughts from anyone's experience?
