Qq, I worked for company A overseas for over 1 year, now I’m with company B. Can I apply for L1 visa through company A to go to US?

Does anyone use a brokerage account instead of a checking account? Mine offers a fee free debit/atm card and free checks which I'd rarely use but starting to question whether it is worth maintaining my "big bank" checking account that requires a $1500 minimum balance.

I also have a local credit union checking/savings that I'd use if I need any services or to deposit cash and a HYSA that gets my paycheck, is used for mortgage and credit card payments, and to transfer to checking or investments.

Hey all - couple question for anyone working at PwC who has been successful in filing their green card under the EB1-C category. How long did you have to wait to get the process started and did you need to get any approvals? I am currently on an L-1A visa and was told by the immigration team that they wouldn’t start the process until I have been with the US firm for 12 months and typically they would start the process 3.5 years prior to the max visa date. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I’ll cut to the chase. I’m an employee at a renowned blockchain startup for 3 years (e.g, Coinbase, Gemini, Alchemy). I have:

20,000 shares
Strike price: $1.50
FMV (based on last valuation): $150 (total worth $3M)

Since the market is in a downturn, it looks like the secondary market price of our shares is at 70% discount ($45). Company’s revenue went down a bit since our last valuation, but we’re still one of the leaders in what we do. Should I hold on to my shares or sell some?

What BS! Neither Amex or Visa US credit cards are working in India. Anyone knows the exact reason?

Hi friends. Current BDR looking for new opportunities. I was contacted directly by AMEX in regards to a Business development manager position and now have an interview scheduled for next week. No clue how as I only have almost a year of BDR experience but I’m running with it and willing to shoot the shot. My interview track record is solid but have never interviewed for a BDM role. Hello smart people. I have 2 credit cards now: chase freedom unlimited and Amex Gold. I plan on using Amex for all restaurants/groceries and the chase card for everything else. Is this a good plan? Or should I just use the Amex for everything and get rid of the chase card?

My other half (currently a Sr. Mgr in the data analytics consulting industry in UK) wants to work in Singapore - is there some sort of parents' visa so that his parents can tag along to stay in SG for the long term? Worried about them as he is the only child. His parents have the money to buy a condo if it helps with their long term stay situation.

How much job hopping is good before becoming detrimental? I’ve changed jobs twice in the last 15 months, both of which I stand by and both of which led to meaningful gains in compensation and quality of firm. I may have another opportunity to jump to T2 which I did not predict would come up. I am hesitant to risk what I’ve earned now to chase greed with another change so soon. On the other hand, am I foolish to turn down an opportunity when it presents itself? Interested in perspective.

Currently working for an IT company (within the Credit Agricole Group) and thinking about becoming a developer since I learned C at the university and could easily pick up a "hot" language if the market justifies it.
Otherwise I love project management and am happy as a PMO, specially working in Change/Transition Management.
