I'm a B.Com Graduate 2017, with 3.2years of Experience into Stock Broking (1.5) and rest in Insurance Domain (US Client)

Trying to apply for analyst/consultant roles in alot of companies but dont get any calls from HR.

I'm stuck here with low pay and with no idea on how to go ahead.

Please suggest what could be suitable role and best way to get the interviews schedule.

I'm also certified Investment Banker into (operations/KYC, AML and Trade settlements)

Analyst at Deloitte soon to be consultant and interviewing at Accenture. They have me interviewing for the Senior Analyst role. Is this typical at Accenture? I’m a little frustrated because it seems like I’d be taking a step back and am not sure why they chose that role for me to interview for instead of a consultant role.

Tomorrow I have 2 interviews: for Market Data Analyst @ CS, and for Client Data Analyst @ AXA XL. I'm currently Junior Managed Operations Analyst @ FIS, with half YOE on this position, and almost a year as Audit Intern @ KPMG. I've decided to apply for those positions as just within those 6 months I've outperformed all of my team members except of 1 witch has over 3 YEO. I don't see more opportunities to grow there.

What are some not obvious questions that I can be asked / I can ask?

I got an interview with Salesforce but not sure what role I should choose - senior business analyst, business architect, professional services. Would someone be willing to get on a quick call or chat with me?

Need thoughts/suggestion. Currently interviewing for Senior Financial analyst at Amazon nearing the last round. Recruiter is asking for initial thoughts on expected total salary (base, sign on payment and comp). How to respond to this question.

I currently work in a data analytics role (Big 4). I have an offer from a mid-sized hedge fund to do business analytics (essentially management reporting), but have interviews with Google (product analyst - data science) and Citadel (compliance project manager) lined up. Is it worth foregoing the mid-sized hedge fund for the shot at the other roles? Hedge funds or tech the better place to be?

How hard is it to transition from forensics into Internal Audit? I’ve been applying to IA positions and SOX analyst positions but no luck. Not coming from B4, just small practice. Is it a common exit? Would it help to get the CIA? Don’t have my CPA.

Read enough about switching to firms like Flipkart , Amazon , Paypal , Amex for Business or Data Analyst roles . Wanted to know what type of questions are asked in interviews in such companies and such roles . Its my first time trying for a switch 😅

Need help on offers. I was offered ALM analyst a position that is $60,000 salary plus 15% bonus a year and I accepted it. I would relocate to Pennsylvania. The company seems excited to get me started.

I later got an offer from another place that pays $72,000 salary plus $3,000 bonus. This is in Florida. I applied for this company several months ago and have been going through the interview process. This job seems more appealing to me, but I already accepted the PA one. What do I do?

I have an interview tomorrow for a real estate acquisition analyst role with the Managing Partner of a small real estate PE firm. Currently an A2 in audit and feeling a bit under-qualified. I have very little experience in RE modeling but don’t want to explicitly mention that during the interview (for obvious reasons). Last round of interview coming up for an analyst/associate role in IB M&A. I have 2 years of experience in Big4 M&A. The previous interview round was very technical, and the last round will be a ”business case”, which lasts about 3.5 hours, including a short introduction, 2-hour preparation, and a presentation. They will provide me the PC. What would you expect an IBD case study to be like? I’m not sure if I have to build everything from scratch or if I can use some ready-made layouts.

Been getting a ton of recruiter outreach messages lately, and a lot of them are attractive roles that I would never even be on a shortlist for. I'm a mid-range analyst at best.

Anyone else getting these messages too? Is the market really that thin? I find it a bit unbelievable because I spent two years unemployed and barely getting interviews prior to COVID.

1) TCS - Elasticsearch Developer/Data Analyst
20 lpa (18 fixed + 2 variable) plus 1 lakh as retention bonus.
2) CTS - Python Developer
22.5 lpa ( 21 fixed + 1.5 variable)

Note:- For CTS, the interview happened for python developer, however, in the offer letter they have mentioned role as manager (projects). Not sure how come!
