I wanted to know if there's room for negotiation, considering I have another offer and also considering the cost of living and student loans. Can anyone share some insights about BTSA comp and negotiation? The principal did mention that I did well in the interview when they called me. My profile: BS in CS, MS in Business Analytics, Location: Princeton. Comp: Base: 85k, Sign on: 7k Relocation: 4k. Please help.

Currently interviewing at JPMorgan in their CIB division for a associate operations role. Have met with 5 people for two different teams and another person for another team, all of which I believe are 3 total open positions for 3 different teams. Any insight on the interview process or how long it takes or any sort of idea to give me on what I could look for that might help me believe I might get an offer? Checked my online application again recently and still says “In Consideration”

Currently scheduling “on sites” for a S&O role in CA. My referrer said they can hire as L5 or L6. Would like to land in the L6 bucket as I’ve heard 5 --> 6 is one of the more challenging promotions.

I’m looking for info on what the real difference is in responsibilities (manager vs IC, cross functional vs focused, etc) so I can focus on checking the L6 boxes during my interviews.

I’m also curious about whether this is something that I should just discuss with my recruiter directly?

Partners, have you ever been recruited by a client and turn it down? If so, were there any repercussions? I am one year from partner and being recruited by a client...looking like they will move quickly on an offer after initial interviews and I’m worried that if I turn it down it’ll be tough to sell back to that client.

I only bring in a little over $2,600 a month. After paying all my expenses, I get to put away $500 a month in savings but don’t have much wiggle room for anything else, including going out money.
