Currently making 125k salary with 10k bonus at essentially an assistant controller role. Client wants to hire me and is asking for my compensation range. What is the market rate for an assistant controller in a large private company? They are really really wanting to hire me and willing to pay a little more. I started working as a consultant with EY 8 months ago. Even though I'm content and learning a lot there, I think there are places where I might easily earn more money. I received a job offer last week from Alvarez & Marsal to work as a consultant at the Transaction Advisory Department (financial due diligence team), where I will be paid more fairly (salary & bonus). I worked 2m for startup company and absconded due to bitter experience from Jun'21 - July'21 , later immediately joined to another company Aug'21 to present(under notice period). Now I got offer with comcast and will moving on Jan'23. I'm bit worried because I don't have releiving letter for those 2m but all other records are clear with me(includes to company I'm currently serving notice period). I yet to reveal this 2m to my Hr.
