Hey y’all! Advice. I had an interview with a consulting company and my first round was with an MD. My second round was supposed to be with a senior manager this week but they backed out. Now I am interviewing with a consultant next week. I’m worried that I’m probably being marked as “low priority candidate.” Am I over reacting?

Where can I find reasonable work/life balance in cyber? I love the work, but want to focus more attention on family/friends.

Background is IR and strategy, ~8 YoE, CISSP. I generally interview well for manager and senior manager level positions.

Had an interview yesterday that didn't go as well as I would have hoped. I fumbled a particular question and feel like I did not emphasize my interest in the industry strongly enough. It was a panel interview with 2 senior stakeholders. I already had a final interview scheduled on Thursday with 2 more stakeholders, and in total will have met with 7 team members.

Since my interview Thursday hasn't been cancelled, can I assume that I didn't completely end my chances? Cont. below...

I received a verbal offer for a senior consultant position with Deloitte’s Risk and Financial Advisory for GPS but was also told that the position would be tied to a USDC. I am based in the DC area and was told that I could be hired to a delivery center during the interview process since they are remote. Is anyone else in a similar situation? Would I receive Deloitte advisory benefits or the USDC benefits?

Is anyone familiar with these Introduction Calls? Are they evaluative? Is it just a courtesy to the Senior Partner which generally won't lead to an interview? Any help appreciated.

I’m applying for a role at my client. They opened a manager level position but I’m looking for a senior manager level exit. At what point in the interview process should I ask if they’re open to bringing me on as a senior manager? Early on, or if I already have an offer?

Finished final round of FDD/TAS interviews at a regional firm. Confident I'm getting an offer. Current S1 + CPA in B4 risk assurance and this jump would be about 10% raise but loss of senior title. Worth it? My attempt to switch to another B4 hasn't worked. Rotation/transfer *might* happen in April but I'm not counting on it.

I want to jump straight into FP&A and completely avoid the stop at FDD (unpredictable/crazy hours) but no luck. Are regional FDD exit ops much worse than B4?
