Does anyone have a connection to network with for a Director/Senior Manager, Content Strategy role at Salesforce? My brother is interested and doesn’t have a connection, so I’m trying to help him find one. He has over a decade of experience and is currently a creative director at his Fortune 500 company.

I started a new role a couple of months ago. I was told that consultant was where my level was. But now looking at everything I should have advocated for senior consultant instead. I do have an MBA and a couple years of experience. What can I do to rectify this?

I’m an introvert in consulting. I get along well with my teams but have found that when projects get busy my social battery plummets and I have zero motivation to network and meet new people. I’ve received feedback that Im doing great work I just need to ‘talk myself up more’ and promote myself. I love the diversity of consulting but I know you can only go so far before your role basically just turns into sales.
Are there any introverts that have gone the distance in consulting? Any advice?

Fish, need help evaluating an offer. Role is a product associate role at a fin tech company. TC breakdown is 130k base, 10% bonus and 15k signing.

My current role is in data analytics with a TC of 120k (110 base). Long term goal is product management/strategy but not sure if it’s better to stay in consulting for direct PM exit or to take this product associate role and lateral later. Thanks!

I really enjoy the human strategy side of a large corporation, but have only been part of random projects as I work in a Marketing facing role.

I’m curious how difficult it is to transition from marketing consulting to a Talent/Organization based role at a high level without it being part of your formal past roles.

Could it be as ‘easy’ as framing those past roles to align with an open role, or are there any hard skills required?

Self Worth: How do you know your worth (salary) without sounding extremely arrogant ? Either applying for a new position at a new place of work or starting a new role and negotiating wages at your current job. Where exactly do you start? Then how do you confirm if its a good wage? And if you are being paid correctly for the job? Or where do you draw the line?

Been applying to Consulting jobs for around 6 months with no luck. Anyone knows of any open entry level positions and can provide a referral? What is some helpful advice for people starting in consulting? I’m 3 months in my role (this is my first job out of graduate school) and want to be successful in this industry but don’t know if there are certain things I need to be doing. Will be discussing a verbal offer with AFS (Accenture) on Monday for a functional salesforce role. Fairly LCOL area with 3 YOE, and 3 YOE as a BA. What TC should I be aiming for?

Does industry you work in as an analyst limit exit opportunities. For example, if you do a lot of healthcare work is it hard to exit to tech or retail

Let’s say I started in a role in June 2022 with one title and I’m expecting a title change to be in more alignment with my responsibilities after I do this certification that my firm is putting me through in December.

Hypothetically, if I wanted to leave in June 2023, on my resume, would it be unadvisable to put the new title for the full duration of time at the firm? I would only be highlighting my skills under the new title anyways.

What to exit to if you’re looking for WLB, no pay cut and more creative role

Have 2 offers between ACN and Deloitte that are pretty comparable in pay ($5k difference - ACN higher). ACN is offering me a Manager (possibility of more stress, responsibilities) position, while Deloitte is offering me a SC (less stress/less responsibilities) position. Who would you go with? Also, is it weird that Deloitte is paying almost the same for a more junior position?

Is anyone familiar with the Deloitte GPS Applied AI analyst position? How does it differ from strategy and what do the exit ops/transfers look like? Is it worth if I’m not at all interested in developing AI and mainly want to do strategy? Would appreciate any insight

Have an interview with a company I really want to work for tomorrow. My last job I was laid off b/c of an acquisition&recently accepted a job at a diff company b/c I couldnt afford not to. I got this invite shortly after. The place I’m interviewing at the job wouldn’t start til next year. I dont want to seem like a job hopper. Do i tell them I’m at a new role or just not bring it up? The acquisition was public so they can see Im no longer employed with the most recent work history on my resume

Is your firm still hiring for start dates in 2022 for experienced hires? Just completed final rounds and the discussion has been a Jan 2023 start.

To those have have exited into consulting from FDD, what do you do? I’m currently a campus hire with less than 1 year of experience, so looking far ahead here. But I’ve seen some go to EYP in the TSE group, but other than that I’m not sure what consulting exit opportunities are available.

Recently interviewed with Bain (US east coast) for a post MBA consultant role and waiting to hear the final results. Been 4-5 days and haven't heard back. They said "All decisions will be communicated by Thursday, October 6th". But I haven't received anything yet - written or on the phone. Followed up with HR but haven't received anything in reply yet. Maybe too early to follow-up. Does that mean I am rejected?
