Anyone here work at Capital One? Can you speak on the Senior Business Analyst Role?

Want to move from IT infra presales(cloud, dc, network, dwp,network etc) to a core consulting role. But everwhere I keep getting rejected saying tht my profile is too IT inclined.
I am in the business of selling services and not actually a dc engineer or network sme, yet recruiters don't seem to understand.
How can I change my profile to consulting?
Any ideas or is anyone willing to refer.
I can take associate consultant/ senior analyst position also for the switch. Plz help a fellow fish out

What is the role "Senior Staff Engineer" equivalent to. Architect or Sr.Architect. Please advise.

I left public accounting for industry about 1.5 years ago. I was a senior in a PCS group. I'll be looking to get back into PA in a PCS group once I get licensed. Does being out of PA for 2 years mean I should look for an experienced staff role, or could I get a senior position? My industry role isn't tax related, so I would have to get back up to speed on all the tax changes in the past couple of years.

Anyone knows the budget range and the compensation structure for a global senior brand manager role at Hyatt? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

I just got an email from an agency that I interviewed with early this year about an open position (a more senior role, this time) that they think I’d be a good fit for. Weird thing is, last time they rejected me in favor of someone with more experience. How do I go about this? Do I mention the rejection? It’s a different recruiter at the same agency.

I've been offered a position Data Engineer at Maersk. Its not a Lead \ Senior Role. I have total YOE of 7 yrs 9 Months. By the time I join Maersk I will be 8 years and I'm a Tech lead in Infosys . Since I was working in MSBI and SQL this will a good change for my career. plus the monetary compensation is double.
Should I accept this offer ? What's your opinion.?

🐠 who jumped into industry internal strategy roles from strategy consulting... how has your TC evolved over time? Obviously, i dont expect it would be easy to reach consulting partner TC unless you get lucky and become very senior, but wondering overall comparison of TC trajectory between strategy consulting vs. similar role but in-house

Is it easier (workload / hours ) and faster to exit as manager from Big4 to a controller position in a fund or to exit as senior and climb the ladder within a fund ? What are your thoughts ? Thanks

I am going into my second year as a tax senior associate. Just got off the phone with a recruiter from industry discussing their current tax openings. At RSM, we will likely be finding out our raises in the next week or two. If my estimate of my raise is correct, the industry position will be about $5k more. I’m closing in on 3 YOE (1 as a Senior), is it worth it to get Sec+ or CISM as certs at this point or should I just gun for CISSP? On a meet and greet zoom with a potential client today. Junior employee and company senior partner. Junior asks if we can supply him with an animator by Friday. I respond politely that we’re not talent management, it would cost him more than hiring directly, and it would shrink our freelance pool for our other project clients. Tech company is ~$85k higher cash comp (+ equity). I can appreciate the doors BCG would open — if I take the tech company would I close the door on getting into MBB in the future? No MBA. Thanks!
