Received an offer from Deloitte in NYC as a Advisory Tech Assurance Senior Consultant. They are offering 100k base plus 10k signing bonus. Is this on par with what most are offered for this location and position?

Secured 750 (Q:49, V:42) in GMAT. Targeting to apply for EMBA in 1-2 years. 9 YOE. Current role: Senior Manager. Target universities: M7, INSEAD and LBS. Question is, for GMAT exam I just focused on Q & V part, and skipped IR & AWA part (IR: 1 & AWA: 3). Now does it make sense to reattempt with a focus on other parts and risk 750 scores, or you think it’s not needed, as for EMBA’s GMAT score is not the only deciding factor and 750 score is enough for most universities irrespective of IR & AWA.

Currently in a middle market position analyzing companies and underwriting credit memos, etc. that kind of work. Career trajectory looks like FA>Credit analyst>Portfolio Manager/relationship manager, then senior leadership. Looking to move from commercial banking side of things and explore a role in Investment banking in a couple years. Anyone in here done something similar? Is it feasible? Tips?

My biggest issue at B4 has been the big firm BS (hard to get things approved, slow moving, high performers not rewarded appropriately). What’s the right balance between the resources/client base of a larger firm and the autonomy/pay of a smaller firm? How small is too small?

I'm hiring an HR Business Partner in the Dallas Market and I am looking for someone with a strong background in being a strategic and tactical partner. We are experience significant growth and this role will play a big part in building out processes, procedures, and programs while also leading the strategy and partnership with senior leaders.

Trying to get out of appraisal/valuation consulting. Just had 1st round phone interview with a smallish (international) real estate private equity firm for a Portfolio Management Analyst position. Previous roles were Senior Consultant at a sub-Big 4 accounting/consulting firm. Base pay is $10K higher with 20-30% bonuses. Is this a good move?

Ok guys help, got an offer from EY FAAS for Senior Manager role to be under their AWM practice - freaking out a little hearing hours are awful.

Has anybody left after a couple of senior years to move into internal audit? I’m interested in making the move in a couple of years (about to be promoted to senior) and have some experience with internal audit from preparing SOC 1 type 2 audits, but was just wondering if anyone had advice about how to prepare/designations to pursue (other than CIA), or what to expect from the position. I’ve never wanted to be in public, but am only sticking around for the experience and career advancement after.

Not sure about the hierarchy at Deloitte USI.

Hi All, I need some advice on a job offer. I have been offered a role in HR in London with a leading media and advertising company. The role seems great and challenging and something I really would want to do and the comp offer seems great on paper (£100k base plus pension and health care) What I find strange is they don't have any bonus at this role level. They say it's a pretty senior level(I know a £100k base in UK is a pretty senior role) but I am really doubting why no bonus? Any thoughts?

I have about 5 years of PM experience and am looking for a senior PM role in a company that makes ML based products and it's been hard. I've gotten feedback that I seem "really smart" but I'm not a good fit for X role. It feels like a hiring manager saying you seem "really smart" is code for something.

I'm also in the position where I've had real successes but my current role is stagnating to the point where I don't know if I can claim any real big achievement in the last quarter to 6 months.
