Currently, we're using JazzHR for our ATS and importing new hires in ADP WorkForce Now, our HRIS and where we run payroll. JazzHR has been great, and ADP has mostly been a pain. We're also using Concur for expenses. Just did a demo with Paycom and was generally really pleased, except the ATS which seems really bare bones compared to JazzHR. Is it worth trading the ease and functionality of our standalone ATS to get an all-in-one solution?
How long, on average, did it take you to study before you could pass the PHR/SPHR exam? Did you think it was worth it?
How many of you have actually read the entire handbook? How long was it? What was the hardest or easiest part of the handbook for you?
Having read the Outward Mindset from the Arbinger Institute I wonder if any of you have used it in your business to help with a cultural mind shift? If so, do you have thoughts you can share? Thanks!!
Seeing a lot of posts about SDRs and concern over CTR and response rate. After a while you need to think about changing the medium, not the messaging.
Do seasoned enterprise reps actually think that MEDDIC helps the sales process? This is coming from the perspective that champions are undervalued and the economic buyer in a F500 company does not usually speak with vendors. The market here is developer tooling. Curious to hear thoughts as many sales leaders use MEDDIC as an inspection tool to manage sales reps with little practical value for deals.
When an employee complains about their manager how do you address it?...The employee was not reporting any harassment allegations; it was the standard “I do everything and make my boss look good while my boss does nothing all day.” There is really nothing to work off of here and I don’t know how to respond other than “sorry that sucks” and “what do you suggest be done?”
What do you do on Monday to get your week set up? I feel like I spend so much time helping my team get their pipelines in shape for the week / setting up a plan.
https://www.pipedrive.com/ This weeks technology highlight is Pipedrive. My company still does not have a formal CRM. I went out and found my own.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a years of service awards vendor? We are looking to move to an online catalog where our employees can pick the gift they want. Thanks in advance!
Has anyone written the CHRL Employment Exam in Canada - Ontario specifically. What was your experience like and how did you prepare?
Does anyone have a recommendation for a list broker? I am trying to find a legitimate vendor and I can’t seem to find one that doesn’t seem to be run out of a seedy back room.
Just venting. I’m tech, and many employees (like 85%) think that being a jerk is a badge of honor and their EQ is like at high school level, so talking to them about diversity issues is like banging head against the wall. They insist that any diversity hire is costing a job to another person with PhD. On top of it, another fancy thing to do in tech is to hate HR. So the conversations usually are like “Oh, you’re in HR, I understand now why you have such a stupid opinion”.
What are your thoughts on having your webcam on/off for meetings with prospects? Do you have them turn it on, differences in industries for value of face-to-face, etc?
So I just received an offer from another company and would like to tell my boss that I’ve been unhappy and received another offer. Ideally I’d like to stay and see some changes but I’m not sure if that will happen. Thoughts? Advice?
Looking for industry roles in Seattle area. Experience in risk management covering policy, reporting and data management. What companies should I consider and any insights on who's hiring in the area?
Coming available soon, & networking for a new project is exhausting. I have some options but start dates keep getting pushed out. I’m worried if I don’t get one that is aligned to my interests (cont.)
PWC FISH, what do you guys do and do you like it or not? What have been your exit opportunities for those post-PWC? I had a recruiter reach out asking for a conversation. Thanks for the thoughts!
What does Sales Enablement mean to you? Does anyone here work in some type of Sales Enablement roll currently?
First time doing traditional PMO. Tips on how to stay organized? Note-taking techniques? I know it’s not glamorous but still want to do well. Post-MBA if it matters.
Sephora shoppers- is VIB Rouge worth it? I’m within range of it and not sure if I should bite the bullet and try to reach it or not.
Any lady lifters out there dating someone who doesn't lift? I love my boyfriend dearly. I also look like I could take him down in a fight. He's a distance runner so he's pretty lean.
What are some of your work pet peeves? Mine is when people start an IM with "Hey" and then wait for you to respond before saying what they want
