Advice for getting past burn-out.
I’ve been a recruiter for 20 yrs, but am still young. First 10 yrs were Corporate TA; most recent 10 are with Agency. For the majority of my career, I’ve been passionate about my job. I navigated the highs and lows and was always enthusiastic about starting each workday. We recently had leadership changes that affect me negatively…. But my job is still intact. However, I have lost my mojo. Reviewing Recruiter job postings does nothing to inspire me.

I have no desire to advance to Creative Director and it makes me feel bad about myself. It comes across as if I don’t have ambition or drive to advance my career.

How do you mentally deal with the stress of this work and these (demanding Wall Street) clients? I’m a senior m&a associate leading multiple deals and every client wants a quick turn around and response times around the clock which is impossible to keep up for each one. I feel like im not giving the best service even though I’m working late nights and weekends. I’m close to promotion but wondering if I’m not cut out for this (seeing some health affects) or if all I need is a mindset change.

Hi All. I am a little confused what the rule is for practicing as a remote in-house counsel. For example, if my employer’s corporate office is based in Texas, but I live in Florida and work from Florida, do I have to register as in-house counsel in both states or either states.
