Feel like I am potentially on the verge of developing tendonitis / carpal tunnel. I try to keep my (standing) desk ergonomically aligned but the reality is that I spend 8-14 hrs a day typing (and, probably, tense) and I’m concerned about rendering myself physically unable to do this job. Anyone dealt with this?

I have been requested to specifically develop of satisfaction survey directly related to management/supervisors and how they are perceived by the company. This would not only be new, but completely outside of the timeline we typically use for our surveys. Although I am excited to build it, it also feels odd that I am creating a survey targeted towards finding weaknesses of leadership. Am I thinking too much into it? What are your thoughts?

Work BURNOUT… LET’S TALK ABOUT IT. So a little back story. I am 38 a full full time single mom. I work about 60 hours per week. I do not get child support. My employer currently expects me to bring in 15 new customers & 100 existing every month… minimum. I have realized with my upcoming paid time off that I am burnt out. I recently have had no motivation to produce because I so desperately need a break. I sell internet and am the 2nd top producing rep in the region. Opinions to get my mojo back.

Lately I’ve been getting the vibe that my firm just doesn’t really want me there. I haven’t been assigned new cases in a while and I got put on one big one recently, only to be pulled off the next day. My hours are good (for now) and I’m paid well so I don’t want to prematurely jump ship but maybe I should just see the writing on the wall and start getting some other options before I’m in a position where I have to find something else. Thoughts? Am I being paranoid? Anyone else been there?

Yesterday my boss scheduled a meeting with me for something he needed help with. He was 15min late & took a phone call from his boss during…10min. This has become a habit. At one point I even stoped scheduling our 1:1’s because he misses them so often but he realized a couple months later & told me to start scheduling them again. I told him they aren’t necessary but he insisted. What do I do? It makes me feel less important/unappreciated. I rather not even schedule to meet. Advice?
