How do you review resumes in a way that reduces implicit bias? I just finished reading the book, "Biased," which discusses the implicit biases we all hold. Our company has not invested in an ATS software, and we’re looking to create a scoring rubric / database in excel based on the job description and candidates. What are ways to ensure the resume review process controls for bias and is still efficient / expedient?
I’m curious: what kind of roles are out there for someone who wants to use creativity within the HR space?
How has COVID-19 impacted your company and your benefits? (Examples: layoffs, furloughs, terminations, no more 401K matching, no promotions, hiring freeze?) Please share :)
How do you communicate with employees who don't want to wear masks? Unbelievable to me people still have issues grasping this need.
Being a Customer Success Manager is a second career for me. Any other CSM’s here and have you read any books or been to a workshop or conference that helped you be better at your job?
I know titles are an issue in all industries... but can anyone help me understand the difference between the functions of HR Administrator, HR Coordinator, and HR Assistant?

I'm an Ops Manager and we have about 150 employees. I'm being forced to create an "Outdoor Office." Has anyone else dealt with this sort of initiative? Is it just me or is this a bad idea?
Living in SF but remote until September (earliest). Rent is too high + apartment too small to justify staying for 3+ months. Playing with the idea to leave (temp or perm). Are people doing the same?
Has anyone had to deal with employee professionalism issues due to mishaps on Zoom / remote work culture?
Any advice would be helpful. Recently started at a tech consultancy and am building up the HR function. Thanks!

Hello everyone! I would like tips on organizations currently hiring and sponsoring green cards for HR specialists. Thank you for sharing.
Has anyone successfully transitioned from sales management in beer/spirits industry in to cannabis? I’ve seen a few roles I’d be qualified for in the Chicago area at Canopy Growth Corp and Cresco but haven’t had much activity on my apps without connections/referrals. Appreciate advice and/or connecting me to the company!
As a company we are looking at going digital with our employee personnel and medical files etc. What are some of the ways you have done that? Any advice/recommended process?
Is anyone familiar with “Applied” a UK based company that does Unconscious Bias training? They are offering a free day long training on recruiting and I was wondering if it was worth it.
Any Marriott/SPG hotel recommendations for Minneapolis? Also what's there to do there the weekend of the 18th?
Mamas, my husband is having a really hard time at work. He’s been very stressed out, the culture is very toxic, and he’s a very passionate person so he’s having an extremely hard time. He’s working nonstop, we have a 6 mon old son, and I’m working full time as well. I talk him down from the ledge everyday, he’s decided to switch jobs but right now isn’t having luck. He’s extremely smart, just isn’t fitting in at this place. Thinking of setting up some time to talk to a psychiatrist..cont
With COVID and now the riots, I’m finding it difficult to find the motivation to work with a huge client deliverable coming up. I feel bad because I feel genuinely depressed (Ive been breaking down constantly and hiding it from my wife) and helpless when there are actual people getting hurt and I’m living a fairly comfortable life joking about minor inconveniences (I dont bemoan anyone who does though) while working from home. And I basically feel like I don’t deserve to feel this way
MBB 🐠 I’ve heard that your firms generally only keep the top 20% of newer resources after 2yrs. How true is this? How likely is it for someone to get counseled out at the 2yr mark?
Hell yeahh!!! Got the offer call. Not too shaby for a “over 30, too many years in the industry, top 25 MBA” as one person put it. BCG 🐠, what is your recommendation in what to prepare before (contd)
Just got an interview at BCG!! I know I’m overthinking this, and this probably doesn’t matter at all, but is there any strategy for what interview slot I should take? I was given a choice of 4: first thing, before lunch, after lunch, and end of the day
Anyone here choosing not to send their kids back to school in the fall out of fear of COVID-19? Not sure if I feel comfortable yet, and I need to let the school know by August 1st if I want my kid to do full virtual classes through December.
Waiting for an offer, do they check references before or after giving offer? And normally how long after interview will I hear back?
Any insights on what salary I can expect at FAANG / other tech companies? Looking for a rough ballpark. Been an Associate (post MBA) at McK for 1.5 years and have ~5 years experience prior to B school
I keep seeing Liberal Arts (English, History, etc.) students at Ivy League schools getting internships and FT offers from MBB and elite ibanks, but business majors studying Finance, Business, Econ at state schools (UMD, UC schools, and others) who can’t even get an interview....what’s the logic here?
Thoughts on BCG Platinion? What have you heard about the culture? What are the projects typically like?
Prayers and condolences to the families of the physicians and nurses we have lost to the COVID-19 pandemic.
