What is the value in professional certifications? ACCA, CFA, CIPD, etc.

Was recently called a “crack analyst” during a client meeting. Is this a compliment lol?

So I just started a new job in sales (B2B specifically). All my life I’ve been in blue collar jobs, military, then construction work ect. I don’t have much money saved to get myself my own business cards as I’m sure they are important to have, I’ve got all the info that I need to go out and start selling. I guess what I’m looking for is just tips on how you guys were successful walking into a whole new arena if that makes sense?

Would you categorize this industry as diverse? I was just reading an article on USA Today that centered around the lack of diversity in finance, especially in positions of power. I’d have to agree with them based on what I’ve noticed.

Does PHR certification help in India, as this is globally recognised how much valuable is this currently in indian job market.

Do we got some good offers or its another certificate just to add to CV after so much of investment & time I don't want to get this wasted !!

Im working on creating job descriptions from scratch. Is it illegal or not a good practice to take ideas from other job descriptions on the web? I won’t be using word for word of course - a paraphrase and adding our company touch. Any advice?

Internship Program Help: Hi Everyone! I’ve never worked for a company with any type of internship program at all, let alone a really successful one. My new company thrives off our internship program, with many of our managers/directors having started as one themselves. I’d like to create more of a structure to this program but not even really sure where to begin. How do I figure out spending with my SO? Initially I was paying for 90% of stuff (no actual bills, just going out). I talked to her and said we need to be more even. She was never proactive. She kind of got offended but we ended on a good note to split things. It went well for a couple weeks but now it's back to normal. She never takes out her card and only venmos me if I send her the request. She lets Venmos sit for weeks before paying them. I still let a lot of things slide.
