What’s your dosage? 28M and I’ve been on 20mg since I started taking it, but I don’t take it every single day and I feel that may help me not get too acclimated to my dosage if that makes sense. I find that drinking green tea or taking L-theanine supplements may help with the anxiety from the meds, along with all of the general good habits to manage ADHD along with medication (remembering to eat every meal, having a well balanced diet, staying hydrated, making sure to exercise daily, etc.)
I’m on 40mg which I only take on weekdays. I haven’t tried L-theanine but I do take ashwaghanda before I go to sleep. Otherwise, I eat 3 meals a day (and have protein shakes etc in between), exercise daily, drink 3-4L of water everyday. I feel like I can’t strike a balance between an effective dose to concentrate and get my work done, and not feeling on edge while it’s in my system
I’ve been at 50 mg of vyvanse for 3 months now. Super effective but the anxiety is and physical strain can start to take a toll. Incorporating more opportunities for mindfulness helped me find a natural balance in my day. I recommend talk therapy, yoga, and meditation if not already a part of your routine. Good luck!
