This is why presentations like this for a job should not exist. Consider it a lesson learned and leave it be. Next time a role asks you to create spec work, politely decline or ask to be reimbursed for it. If they can’t let it go, it’s a red flag.
Oh I don’t disagree. It depends on the ask. But my point is when you ask to compensate, they usually back down.

Since you are long past the interview process, why not just say the company/idea?
Many people, when given the same brief, come up with the same or similar ideas. If it’s truly an original idea, get an attorney to draft up a cease and desist using your IP rights as the foundation of the letter. They’ll then pay you out to avoid needing to pull the work. Keep in mind that this path only makes sense if the “damage” is worth more than $100k.

What's your ideal outcome?
They publicly acknowledge it's your idea?
Privately acknowledge it?
Do you have a portfolio you want it for?
Do you want to be compensated for the idea?
Is it the kind of idea you could rightfully claim ownership of?
Did you sign anything, any contract, giving them ownership of your presentation?
The acknowledgement would be nice. I guess it’s more surprising than anything that I did a presentation on this, then didn’t get the job, but yet the idea is now out in the world. It’s a good enough idea that it was executed but not good enough that I would get the job. It’s disappointing more than anything.
Woah, this sounds like the movie Free Guy.
What's the extent of what they stole? Can you prove it?
I have the presentation dated and the emails where the presentation is sent to different people in the organization. It’s a huge company so it’s very possible someone had the same idea, it’s just a bummer to see out in the world when I didn’t get the job.
Wow. So sorry to hear this. I really don't think there is much you can do. That would be a really hard thing to prove.
