Hi fishes,I have around 5.2 yrs of hands on exp in data engg. and able to clear service based companies interviews easily. Now I want to switch to product based companies as I am looking for some good work, good salary but I am not really strong in dsa as it's not part of my daily work.I don't really use trees and graphs as part of my daily work.
How shall I switch to product based companies considering DSA is their 1st round itself.what level of DSA can I expect from companies for data engineer position?

As a former Accenture employee can ask what group to and from?
Not very common, but also not rare. It’s the recruiters job to help you find the best fit. Unless you are very set to the one group, I’d at least explore their suggestion.
A second scenarios is that the group that interviewed you thought highly of you, but had another equal or better candidate. They are challenging the recruiter to bring both to the firm, but themselves only have one role. This happens more often than you would think and why would we let good talent walk out the door.
What’s the possibility of getting hired by this new group especially if they don’t have a role open? I am not trying to be picky but I also want to make sure I am not wasting my time.

Sounds to me like they are either placing you where the market need is or just having another MD from another area interview you for a second opinion.
What group are they switching you to?
