Accepted two jobs and they both have training around the exact same time, on zoom. Even if I push back one job another week, the training times still conflict. I accepted two jobs based upon the income that I need and nothing else being out there. Any suggestions?

I‘ve currently got 5 years sales experience (sales advisor, sales specialist and currently SDR). I’m looking to stay in my SDR role for a year and then venture out. The companies I’ve worked for have been in the telecommunications and now fintech industry. What is the trajectory for sales role post sales manager or what are other career avenues I could explore with my sales experience.

I got a decent offer from a competitive company ( in my domain ) and my current company countered that. I revoked my resignation and got the team internally changed, but still I am not liking the work. The other company work is better as per my analysis. I am planning to resign again as the other company is ready to match( better in a few aspects ). Will this be a good decision?

How can I sell my 2 years of clerkship as valuable experience for corporate work? I would like to get credit for at least one year (at least in salary, if I can’t in seniority). I know for litigation they are more clearly valued and linked to that type of work, but I have reconsidered my interests and now am thinking of going into corp. However, I don’t want to feel like I wasted 2 years clerking (which I don’t feel like that, but I have to convince an employer of that too). Any help or insight?

1st yr at a nyc v50 firm doing general transactional work. I know the lateral market for transactional lawyers is hot but not as hot for juniors. I just want a change of scenery because my current firm is bleeding good associates / not giving great training imo / and just seems small. Would lateralling this early feasible? Would it look bad on my resume?

I’ve been told my company is changing my title from Associate Director of BD to Sales Executive. I’m concerned it reads like a title demotion. Is it just semantics? How will this look for my career development? Curious about the standard perception of Sales Executive from a seniority perspective. Where does this land on the sales roles hierarchy? For context, it’s a professional services firm, I’ve been there 3+years, and they gave a Sales Executive title to someone who just started 5mo ago.

I just started with a company as an HR Generalist. Within the 3 weeks of being there, my boss’s boss left, and today I found out my boss gave notice. HR is not valued at the company and it’s disheartening to know I was hired into a mess.
