Background: Currently an enterprise AE, 12 years experience. Want to break into Big 3 cloud providers.

Is one of these 3 the clear cut best option for AE’s? Would be happy with any tbh.

Anyone have tips for a successful FET? I had two failed FETs last year, but finally gearing up for another FET in a few weeks and having mixed emotions. Worried that we’ll have the same outcome as before, but also hopeful that *maybe* this will be the one that works for us. Differences vs. last year: had a myomectomy to remove a submucosal fibroid and switched clinics to a RE that I think is great / trust much more than my prior doctor (also had 3 more ERs at this new clinic). I am currently working as a Software Engineer in Data Science domain like ML, QlikSense etc. I have 1.25 yr overall experience and I am from Tier 1 clg but from non-IT branch. I am not much confident about my experience in this domain as startups want more at this much exp and learning is slow in current workrole. So I am thinking to take BITS Pilani Work integrated learning program in Data Science and be here in HSBC for 2 more yrs with limited growth. Will it be right to study or to change?

I had a thought and I can’t tell if it’s conspiracy brain. I flipped around to all the networks, and they’re all basically saying the same thing - count all the votes, then do legal challenges, but in the end Trump doesn’t have much of a path to victory - even Fox. It’s almost like they’re collectively holding off on calling any more states for Biden because they’re waiting for Trump to come to terms with it. That ultimately would be best for the country - if Trump conceded on his own. Crazy?

Question about RSUs and taxes in the UK - Amazon makes us pay 6.9% of the NIC EmployER taxes when our shares vest, and this amount is deducted from RSU reported as income so we’re not double taxed. Honest input request. Recent company role overhaul & total comp package revamp, cutting my 6 figures made last year down by 30k, and they added in support calls + prospecting + team lead. Pay day saw a 2.5k take home drop This month. This helped low performing staff increase their income, and pulled top performing folks like me into the red. Do I have any negotiation points here? Just finished an interview for an AE role at a high-growth SaaS organization.

The interviewer told me that their quotas are very high - barely any of their sales reps hit quota YoY. They mentioned, “goals are high to push our reps. hence our YoY growth”

I have a very poor manager and I have the opportunity to give her some formal feedback every quarter. It’s supposedly anonymous but she doesn’t have many direct reports so she could probably figure out who said what. I have declined doing this before because I fear retaliation, but I am wondering if I should state my case because she is truly terrible. What would you do?

I am fairly new to sales (3 years), and I just closed a deal that will pay out twice what I made all of last year ($75k vs $150k). My question is: nobody here can talk to their friends or family about this kind of stuff, right? Do you all disclose to people that you are pulling in $250-$300k in a year? Just got a verbal from Oracle for a manager position and should be getting the official offer by EOW. When I got the verbal today she said “I don’t know if we’ll be able to get there but we may be able to get you 100K base”.. I’m seeing on Glassdoor and Comparably that the base is at 110 - 125… how should I bring this up or push for a higher base if it’s “the closest they can get? Just trying to prepare ahead of time so I know how to respond, I’m new to negotiating! Any help would be amazing!
