ADHD coping mechanism: Minimalism. As I write this from my SO's place, I'm overwhelmed with all the stuff. It reminds me of the times when I'm most productive, it is when I am on the road with just me and my carryon suitcase, on a plane or in a hotel room. Clutter is a huge distraction, each item prompts thoughts. "forgot about that, what is that? why is that there? oh I could use that! was that a waste of money? do I wear this or that? do i use this mug or that mug? etc. How is your space?

I am as minimal as possible with a young child. Too much stuff makes or clutter me super anxious and I can’t focus. It’s also how I track my mental health. If I start to have clutter, it means my mental health is on the decline.

I have a para/assistant teacher that just wants to argue over everything. “You’re the teacher, why do I have to assess the children during break out rooms?” We have 8 kids, and I am only asking her to do 3! Here is my current cocktail: Caffeine 400mg (200 when I wake up then another 200 when I go to the gym 30 minutes later), Modafinil 150, Bupropian XL 150. I used to take adderall but it made me crazy for lack of a better word. Looking to add a stimulant for focus. Suggestions? Currently deciding between Ritalin and Vyvanse. Also, I know I’m a stim junkie I was taking adderall for 20 years so my tolerance is pretty high. Please keep it positive and helpful thanks

I have not been diagnosed with ADHD. I definitely fit some of the characteristics that go unnoticed in females. The good news is if i do have ADHD, it makes me quite good at my job as I’m very flexible and can provide positive energy to my patients. Anyway, my boss has told me I have ADHD multiple times.
