Hey guys! Currently in WM ops at Morgan Stanley for the past 1 year dealing with alternative lending, I’m super underpaid with 3 years of experience which is very frustrating. (73k). Have been at Morgan for 1 year and looking to come over to JPM for an ideal pay bump, but would like to get into IB type roll. Any insight on what I should expect or how to go about applying? Maybe even getting referred? I have a deep knowledge of investments and always felt inclined to go down this route.

I’ve been a management consultant for 3.5 yrs. I’ve done 18 months of internal sustainability work such as building our sustainability practice, initiatives to get B CORP, SBTI, tracked carbon emissions, company campaigns for sustainability awareness, sustainability strategy. I want to move into a sustainability consulting role. Which area of sustainability consulting should I look at? Are there any courses or certifications I should do?

How can one transition from a Visual/graphic designer in marketing to a product designer? And what’s it like being a product designer w a visual design background? Will you completely leave behind the graphic design world or are you still wearing many hats and still fulfilling that design and creative buzz? I started a full time in-house design job that pays extremely well. I barely have to work at all. This makes me very confused since I kept hearing stories of people working 60+ hr weeks as designers at ad agencies. I am not complaining, but I have this creeping irrational feeling that I’ll get fired for not working even though there’s nothing for me to do. Should i be making up projects or asking for more work? Or just chill out? I just feel very confused. Are a lot of full time jobs like this?
