I was recently furloughed and still feel devastated by the decision. I have reached out to a couple of recruiters for opportunities in top 10 firms and have phone interviews this week. I am sure they will ask why I am leaving my firm which is a top 25 firm. Would you suggest I state my frustration with my firm’s decision to furlough employees and cut salary as an excuse? Or would you be silenced about it and give another reason? FYI, I have spent less than 1yr with my current firm.

Hi everyone, I got approved for an L4 position at Google in the Bay Area and wanted to know how much compensation I should be expecting. My decision came back really fast and the recruiter told me it was because interview and referral feedback was very positive. Should I be expecting more because of my positive feedback? Thanks!
