Hi guys. I have a query with regards to the Income tax proof submission.

So I have claimed exemptions on the following-
1) HRA
2) 5 year term deposit(fixed deposit) under Section 80C
3) Interest on education loan under Section 80E

I have also provided previous employment details.

Guys I didn't know that we have to submit declaration forms as well. Can you please tell me which are the declaration forms that I would need to fill and submit??

We flew back from Ireland today on Delta. Our connecting flight from JFK at 6:10 was cancelled while we were flying over the Atlantic Ocean, and we were rebooked on a 3:40 instead (2.5 hours earlier) but not notified. I received no email, text or app notification of the flight cancellation or the new flight we were placed on, so we missed it. American airlines is so dumb. Was trying to purchase MCE seats for a long-haul. You can’t
purchase it online after check-in. And they can’t uncheck you over the phone. Good thing I fly Delta!

Has anyone reevaluated their retirement methods after a life-altering experience? I used to invest a lot more ($5k or so a month), but after losing one of my parents last year (mid-50s), I’ve wondered if it’s better to just enjoy life as we are living it. So, I started investing a lot less. But I always see people on here talking about all of these retirement schemes (backdoor Roth, mega-backdoor Roth, etc.) and I’m wondering if there’s a happy middle ground somewhere.

When they send out emails to everyone a resource has worked with over the PY and ask if they believe said person is ready for promo, do they think anything of people who choose not to answer/reply? Ex if you wouldn’t be able to support this persons promo so you would just not reply to the email instead of saying “no.”

I have the most terrible coping mechanisms in that I binge eat/mindlessly scroll through social media. It’s hard to break this cycle but I’m hoping to replace these with healthier/less harmful coping mechanisms. What works for you when you’re stressed?
