Or just not do the happy hour so often and let people on the team have an hour to themselves? You said you’re trying to beat WHF fatigue and the best way to do that is to let everyone fully disconnect and not make them join unnecessary video calls.

Good to play Kahoot

Ok but how do you distribute the cards and whatnot around the team?

Strip poker. Guaranteed team builder.

I know everyone has their own preferences but I’d rather just get that time to myself and log off early. But my colleagues on my team did enjoy a game of 2 truths and a lie the last time we had a virtual activity.

I have family members who are inside claims reps for a large company. The company sends out emails 4 times/day showing who is currently not available for calls. To everyone working in claims in the entire country! It’s been a minute since I worked in claims. And never for this particular company. But is this shaming the new way to manage WFH.? Sounds at least toxic.

Researching the job mkt & pay for nursing: It is so easy to set up a first interview esp. as a nurse. Set up a zoom meeting, in the zoom meeting ask abt job details and ask for the salary range. They will give it to you, and in my case it was the same range for both of the companies. (Hospice oncall nurse here👋). Then you fit in somewhere on that continuum based on education & experience—that where the negotiation comes in—they will make a case to place you as low as possible on the scale.

Hi everyone!

I've been offered a job at
Publicis Sapient as a front-end developer (React Js).
What kind of work culture, work load and tech stack exposure should I be expecting?
I'm having 1 year experience.

I've also got offers from IndiaMART InterMESH Limited, Amdocs, Verizon and Collegedunia.

All for the role of front-end web developer.

I'm very confused between all of them.

Happy to report: Did not fall into any honey trap at the holiday party.

Which one should I go for?

1. Oracle - 18.3 LPA fixed + probable bonus (I may or may not get)
2. Amadeus - 18 fixed + 1.5 variable.

Amadeus is also giving joining bonus of 75k. Amadeus is paying more, may give better hikes too, but I am finding it hard to let go off Oracle's brand name on my resume even if it's means around 2L less over an year. I am planning to work for atleast 3 years in my next company.

What would you have done in my place? Should I go for Oracle or Amadeus?

Right now i feel i should switch to a customer facing role because i think it's a good fit for me and also it seems quite interesting and engaging. Have on offer in hand with a better company for the role customer support specialist L3 . Should I take up this offer ? Or i can stay in Manual Testing my whole life ?
