Submitted documents with capgemini for business data analyst, data strategy delivery group( capgemini invest) ,8.1 YOE. Already have an offer of 24 ctc from wipro. Before the interview i told my expectation as 30CTC. Will recruiter now lowball me? And how much would be variable pay %??

I have been on a planned personal sabbatical this year pursuing personal interests. Now I’m ready to go back to work. I will have next week the second interview with an exec recruiter for a company for a Director level position reporting to the COO of the company. Any googlers that can offer a perspective? Cleared all interviews for TPM. No HC review yet, as the recruiter says the new process is to find a match before HC. Had conversations with 3-4 teams so far, many times great feedback/compliments even during the team matching chat, but no successful match yet. I am told that there were internal candidates that fit the role better. The wait on since May, starting to lose hope now. Is team matching supposed to be this hard?
