You guys have Florida, you don't need a new variant to set you back.
.
Hell no. We had 8 months to get everyone vaccinated. We even have boosters for the especially vulnerable demographics. If people chose not to get vaccinated at all, it’s on them and the rest of us should move on with our lives.
Well, everyone but newborns and infants and toddlers and pre-schoolers
I don't think it'll delay it. Folks need to realize that there'll hardly be an "ideal" time to go back; you can't extend the return yet again.
👍🏻👍🏻 👍🏻
I wouldn’t be surprised if it sets the US back by several months at least. Only my gut sense but if it’s anything like delta variant that’s the likely outcome.

I do NOT want anymore lockdowns and I’m tired of supply chain shortages/inflation. But at the same time, I kinda don’t want to commute back to the office anymore…
No, I don’t think so. Most of my colleagues actually want to be back and don’t want any more lockdowns
Pro
Yes, I’m aware. I was just answering the questions: “do you think the new variant will cause another lockdown?” And “what do you/colleagues/ think?”
If there are lockdowns move to Texas like me. Moved from DC back in May and it was the best decision of my life. Will never leave 🇺🇸

Probably
No
Probably not, unless it turns out to be ultra deadly, virulent, and/or immune to being stopped by vaccines.

Hard to say. I’ve been living a near-normal life for a year - even through the delta surge - but omicron makes me nervous.
I desperately want normalcy, but I want to be mindful of the risks too, and I just have no sense of how omicron changes the game. Booked my booster for Sunday 😞
