Are they scheduling work based green card for interviews now? I just got a notification that interview is ready to be scheduled.

Hi I was interviewed by Capgemini in December 2021 and surprisingly they called in February 2022 for second round.

1. When can i expect call from hr?
2. I was thinking it is not genuine as they did not had clarity for which they were interviewing me. However in both round people who interviewed had email id with domain of Capgemini.

Did it happened with anybody else?

I have been trying to escape consulting for over 2 years now, but havent been able go convert the right role for me. Ive had a plethora of interviews lately. I hope that I can land something soon. My big 4 experience has been so depressing, that whenever I land an offer letter, I will most likely break down crying. I consistently dream of that day. I feel like i have been in a corporate prison. Can anybody relate?

Would you cancel an interview that's already scheduled if you've decided to take another job? Or go ahead and do the interview and decline if you receive an offer?

I have been offered From Persistent system with 90% hike and some joining bonus.
I am still awaiting offer from Capgemini as I have cleared interviews and completed documentation there too.
My question is should wait for Capgemini's offer? As they haven't been responsive to any of my mode of communication.
While as Persistent has been responsive and offered a good deal..let me know ur thoughts

Any idea why they want to have one more round after HR discussion?

How would someone coming from mostly retail wireless sales get into the tech sales industry? One of the reasons I want to transition from industry to consulting (tier 1) is that I get frustrated when I have to collaborate with mediocre people. My assumption is that Tier 1 consulting firms hire really sharp people and if I can get in, I’ll be collaborating with folks on top of their game (not expecting much from clients). I’m aware there are personal aspects I need to work on like my mindset, patience etc etc, but I just get so frustrated with blatant stupidity.
