You'll get better info in the points bowl. I really like mine

That’s a thing??

Pays for itself - 300 in travel credits, 100 for Uber, 100 or Peloton, tons of lounges, plus the points.
It was a great card, but the competition has gotten stiff since it first came out and also, they raised the annual fee. Now, I think you can get more bang for your buck by doing Cap One Venture X (new card) + Amex Gold. I’m thinking of downgrading my Sapphire Reserve to the Preferred and getting the above combo.

I really like mine too! Lots of points and great for traveling.
Love it! Had it for years.

Trying to decide between Amex platinum and this, so appreciate the input on the sapphire everybody!
I just use whatever card gives the best cash back %. Couldn’t care less about other random rewards I’m likely to not use. Cash is king. Also I don’t pay annual fees on my cap one card because I was upgraded for free with how long I’ve had a card with them
It depends how much you travel and how big travel is as a part of your budget. I've had a Chase Sapphire Reserve for ages and my husband has always been more of a "cash back" guy since travel hasn't historically been as large a part of his budget as it has been for me. We like having one really solid travel points card and another solid cash back card. I honestly didn't see the point in cash-back cards until after COVID hit and travel as a percentage of my expenses went way down.

Love mine. Open to options for anything better tho. Just thought this was the best out there if you travel even a little and dine out somewhat frequently.

CSR is still the best card I think for how most of the biglaw folks I know spend their money (restaurants, bars and travel). The new Capital One card is nice but CSR gives you more points for those categories, ends up being worth it for me.

Cross shop thr venture x. I'm deep into the chase platform or I'd switch
