Focus on the practice questions online. I didn’t bother with the book. Keep taking the questions and disregard your score. I had 60s but passed well above on day of. Read each response as to why the answers were right or wrong because you need to understand how ISACA thinks. I did the 30 question tests then the new questions only near the end to better gauge where I am on the spectrum. Good luck
Just study the questions.
And what kpmg 1 said. Think like isaca, not like your firm’s methodology.
Online question bank over and over, and as mentioned above read the reasoning behind why it is one answer over another. I found that in the 4 multiple choice answers you can eliminate 2 answers pretty easily, but the 2 that are left are technically both correct, but one is a better answer than the other. If you are not clear on the question you could easily choose the wrong one because again technically you could make an argument for both..... good luck!
I read the guide and used the bank. I found the test difficult but still passed
Thanks guys this is really helpful
Do not read the book. Just drill the MC over and over again so you get close to 80% each time. Studied for about 3 months with the last month seriously drilling. Not a bad exam. Passed first time. Good luck bro!
Just keep in mind the test is less practical and more subjective to ISACA's assumption of how things should happen. I read the CISA guide and practiced as many practice problems as possible
