The old sang “pound the pavement” comes to mind. I don’t know if any tricks ... the ones selling the tricks are just doing a better job selling to nbz teams than the nbz teams to their clients :-)
When I say pound the pavement, I specially mean, find your targets. Figure out the buyers and influencers. Figure out ways to meet them and listen to them (not sell). Then decide if your services/products are a good match. Once you find some common thread go hard at that target.
Of course this is different for large orgs with multiple geos and endless services vs niche agencies.
That’s a long way to say there aren’t many tricks. But many tried and true tactics
