Anybody worked at Slalom as a Associate consultant? Heard it’s a program for entry level people. How was It? How long did It take for a promotion? How about the projects? How many did you undergo? Were they hard? Easy? What should I expect coming in as a Associate consultant?

Guys I am from Texas, USA. The last time I appeared for an interview was 10-11 years ago. I work in Java and related tech. I have some programming experience but excel mostly in mechanical and product design as well as 3D CAD. Have you seen women wear ties and "masculine"-looking suits to work? Was it accepted by client and team? I've never worn a tie to work, but when I've worn clothing that had a more "masculine" fit either in grad school or some work environments, I've gotten comments and looks, or sometimes asked (or people gossiped) about my orientation. When I wear more "feminine"-looking clothing, I feel more more uncomfortable and awkward. 🤷🏼‍♀️

There is no travel with Slalom, but the idea of being the new person all the time isn’t too appealing. Less pay and known culture, or more pay unknown job satisfaction?
