Layoff going on in Synechron ?
Is Nagarro good to join? I have a fully remote opportunity which I'm pretty sure I can crack. Is the pay and benefits good at Nagarro? Do they provide laptop and test devices or will I have to work on my laptop? Do they give medical insurance etc? What if the project gets over. Do they have enough projects or will I be asked to move to a different technology? Will I be fired if on bench? Nagarro

Hell no.
I’ve actually taken 3 mental health days since quarantine started. HR keeps sending emails about taking time off for our mental health, and I plan on taking it when I feel like I need it (w/ proper planning of course). I’ve been upfront about it with my boss and colleagues, and I’m blessed that they are empathetic about it. I’m not quite sure what the culture is like at your agency, but I encourage you to take the time away for your mental health and be honest about it with your coworkers and boss.
Agencies keep preaching about the importance of looking after our mental health, and it’s time they put their money where their mouth is.
Take the PTO! This industry doesn't save lives. Burn out is real, don't let the business ruin your mental health. Best to have the heart to heart with your boss that you just need time to decompress. You're human, not a machine.
Dude - just take some time. Grab a Fri/Mon, take the 4 days, go fishing, go to the beach, go camping... get out
If you have your hands in a few clients and your billable the agency won’t touch you, enough has disrupted the agency relationship with their clientele, they don’t need to explain another loss resource
AMD - you are comparing COVID related layoffs with a discussion about being laid off over taking a couple days to yourself.
Agree with everything that’s been said. Take the time! Be an example for your team... they’re probably scared to take it as well if their team leads aren’t.
Take the time, it's no different than if you were in the office. I take my lunch breaks, quick walks around the block in the afternoon, actually shut down around 6 if I'm able. At this point I think the collective we has shown we are actually working, do unless you were consistently working 10+ hours everyday never taking a day off then, why start now?
