Hi fishes,I have around 5.2 yrs of hands on exp in data engg. and able to clear service based companies interviews easily. Now I want to switch to product based companies as I am looking for some good work, good salary but I am not really strong in dsa as it's not part of my daily work.I don't really use trees and graphs as part of my daily work.
How shall I switch to product based companies considering DSA is their 1st round itself.what level of DSA can I expect from companies for data engineer position?

Could you please let me know, will it affect my current offer from JPMorgan Chase
Did you mention which company you were with?

Finally found THE one, after over a year of searching and trying out at least 5 different ones!
A nice comfortable office chair.

My criteria: mesh seat and back, arms, headrest
I tried cheap ones from Amazon. Expensive, second hand gaming chairs. Tried HM Aeron (second hand) and while I didn't like the bulk and the general design, I was sold on the mesh seating. I wanted to get the ErgoChair 2 from autonomous, but it doesn't have mesh seat.

We are part of Big 4? 🥺🥺🥺
I meant I’d be transitioning from big 4 but wanted Accenture feedback (was there prior) :)

It's only possible, successfully, in non-strategy consulting. Know 2 guys who did it. Tech consultants. They both took home over 10M last couple years.

Have established large teams. They consult on over 100 products each.
Rising Star
I spent 10 years as an Independent Consultant, after having spent 2 years at Kearney and 12 years in Industry.
Network, network, network.
Do big companies hire independent consultants - how does that work contractually for them if you’re not a “preferred vendor”?
I went independent 4 years ago and never looked back. Yes it takes more proactive planning in regards to savings, cash flow, and networking/marketing yourself. I would only recommend it after several years of working as a consultant in a job, five is a good number, so you can build up a network and a solid resume with experience. You can effectively double your income just by making this change. I’m in the process of writing a book detailing how I did it, how to find projects, optimize your resume, how to analyze the contract for the best terms, and especially how to double or triple book if you really want to super charge your income. You can easily go from $100k-150k at a day job to $200-400k doing the same job. FYI I do Oracle cloud consulting and typically work with medium sized clients but have worked bigger projects such as through EY. Happy to discuss more.
