I have a great travel insurance company that I use for adventure travel but I’m not telling you who it is because people changing their mind and having dr’s write fraudulent notes is what drives insurance costs up for the rest of us. :)

Try your non CSR insurance first, they may be more reliable. I’ve been burned by CSP before regarding a (legit) doctors note leading to canceled plans. This was before the CSR came out but anyways yeah try the non-chase travel insurance first. You’ll need lots of documentation.

@Op fraud

lol thanks for the responses. Part of me just wants to eat the cost, but worth checking alternatives. Don't want to get in any legal trouble

Why did you change your mind? Where was the vacation to?

What is CSR?

Chase Sapphire Reserve The FB community likely has half of all issues CSR cards

Lol, I was like cust svcs rep?? Never mind. I don’t bank in chase manhattan, I’m a bofa guy.

If you have a doctors note you should be ok. There’s HIPAA laws which means the travel insurance can’t look into your medical records. But there’s still an element of risk for your doctor friend.

The bofa credit cards mostly suck tho

I don’t really do insurance and stuffs. Though I spend about 55k in world points card that I got in 2008, I never changed. Don’t have Amex too

55k annually

@A1 it’s hard to understand you, but CSR covers you when traveling and renting a car for example
